Update

The book review page has been updated. Just finished writing the review on, Sayuki book 1 by Kazuya Minekura, translated and republished by TOKYOPOP.

First post

Last week i had a crazy idea i wanted to write a book, whilst looking for inspiration online, trawling google and youtube i came across a guy named Mark Crilley teaching techniques for drawing manga. Now i wasn't totaly oblivious to the style of manga but i had never read a manga book or comic before or even tryed my hand at drawing some. I quickly found the inspiration i was looking for, within the hour i had ordered a how to draw book, mechanical pencil, fine liner pen and a rubber. The next morning it had all arrived and had a quick look through and decided to start drawing a few example from the book, so far so good ;).
I also purchased a copy of Mark Crilley's book, Miki Falls, book 1 - Spring. I have read the book and will review it later on.

So thats a little about what i've been doing, getting started.
I will be reviewing the books and products that i have purchased so far later on. This site will be for reviewing the products i use for drawing manga, books i read and anything else i feel like reviewing. If you have a request for anything you would like reviewing just leave me a message and i'll see about get round to doing it.
